I guess MLB is too busy kissing up to the AL to set the NL schedule for their (at the very least) Tuesday games.........

David O'Brien @dobrienatl #Braves' Snitker was as impressed as everyone else is upon hearing the fact that the #Marlins still have not lost a postseason series. Ever.
"Let's hope we end that," he said.

David O'Brien @dobrienatl #Braves would definitely consider bringing back Game 1 starter (presumably Fried, though Snitker hasn't said) on short rest for Game 5 if series went distance. Lot would depend on how Game 1 went, how many pitches, how stressful, etc.

This is something we're going to have to be concerned about for the rest of the playoffs, considering he's missed time twice already because of his wrist. It happened in the bottom of the 8th inning the other day in game 2. Imagine going from Acuna to Ender. It would be like going from banging Kate Upton to Nancy Pelosi. I know Pache was on the roster in the first series, but if I recall correctly you can add a guy during a series if you have an injury...and Snit would add Ender and start him in CF.

It was evident early on that Ender was a burning tire fire in a dumpster this season, and playing him was useless. We should have been giving Pache those starts that Ender was getting. If Acuña goes out and we have to play Ender it will be one of those things where I can never forgive their stupidity is doggedly hanging on to this notion that Ender might be valuable.
If it were to happen, maybe we could have some sort of pixie dust miracle where he hits line drives and gets on base, but I wouldn't hold me breath waiting for it.
What is it with wrists? Freddie last hear, Acuña and Oz this year.
It's definitely an issue to some degree. I read after the series that he said he was just going to have to play through it... so he's not waiving it off.

This 4 day layoff is good for his wrist, but he could injure it on any swing now.
Frustrating for sure after Freddie's wrist problems last year.

A wrist is hard to rest (try saying that really fast three times). Seriously, though, it's probably used more than any joint in the body, and resting it can only help so much. Time away from the stress of baseball is really all that will heal it.

Why does MLB still not the time set for Tuesday's Brave game? They set the time yesterday morning for the Monday AL games..

Why does MLB still not the time set for Tuesday's Brave game? They set the time yesterday morning for the Monday AL games.. I looked at Yahoo this afternoon and they have us playing at 1PM on Tuesday.
But they also show the Dodgers playing at 1PM and both of the AL games at 3PM.
That does not seem right.
They show no night games and we all know the Yankers are going to play in prime time.
