Another great thing about today was Snit managed a good game. His decision to pull Fried not only got the lights out pen in there to hold it to 1 run, but it also means Fried can easily come back and pitch again in the series. it really was a well managed game by snitker. This from I, the chief of complaints.

He doesn't have to do much other than making pitcher change decisions, but that's just the nature of the current game with the DH.
80% of the time there is little to say other than players performing or not is what decides the game. Maybe 20% of the time it becomes a manager making a good or bad decision that puts his team in the best position to win or lose. In those cases I will call out why I think a bad decision was made, and if I'm going to point that out I need to point it out when a good decision was made.
I am sure some thought Fried could have gone a little longer and saved another arm or two for tomorrow, but I think he made a good call today for this game, and for the series in general in case it goes to 4-5 games.

If it goes 5 games, I want fried out there for the winner take all game. Lesson learned from last year, if game 5 is neccessary, better start your best pitcher.
