Let me be honest here. I have lived in Atlanta all my life and been a fan of the Braves, the Falcons, the Flames, the Hawks, the Thrashers, the United, the Chiefs... whatever. Losing is ingrained in me. Losing with a 99.87% of probability of winning is ingrained in me. Nice videos... but videos don't make outs and drive in runs. Welllllllll, aren't WE in a "imajackass" mood tonight!
Lol, believe me, with being a Braves fan and a St. Louis Blues hockey fan for 50 years I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN!
All the same, I think we're winning this series in 4 games and who knows after that. Probably a slaughtering at the hands of the Dodgers, but they've been pretty good about choking too for a long time.

The fact that the Marlins and their crappy franchise have 2 World Series wins versus our 1 win.

If I was in that mood I would say this every other post every single day instead of just this once. It's out of my system now, so go Barves!

“I think you want your best going in Game 1,” said Snitker.
It's a shame he doesn't feel that way about game 5.

Something tells me he sounded like Forest Gump when he said that.

Snit says they are leaning towards adding 2 more pitchers for this series. I hope one of them isn’t the Puke, be interesting to see what two non pitchers will be left off.

Camargo and Contreras out with Wilson and Ynoa in.
Charlie stays because he could be emergency catcher.

Unfortunately I'll be in Downingtown again on Tuesday and Wednesday (and maybe Thursday morning too). I'll be listening on the SiriusXM radio Tuesday while driving so they better win. Hopefully I'll catch at least some of the game Wednesday. Should be home for Thursday, Friday and Saturday as it stands now.
GO BRAVES!

Speaking of Camargo, what are we going to do with him? We obviously should have traded him after his 2018 season, but as they say, hindsight is 20/20. Are we all in with Riley at 3rd, in spite of his continued struggles? I mean, I've seen some encouraging signs from Riley, but I still don't trust him as the long-term solution.

Nobody could defend Camargo at this point and I'm not trying to, but I feel like we rattled him when we took his job away after 2018 and he's not gotten his confidence back. He could be criticized for that, but look at what a long leash we've given other players. And for good reason, because without confidence no player is going to make it in the big leagues. But young players are especially super fragile mentally. Other guys were given longer leashes because they were more highly touted coming up through the minors or the team just believed in others more at all points of their career. I never understood that because he gave us such a solid first year and a half in the big leagues. I still think he can be a steady 2-4 WAR every day player, but it will never happen in Atlanta for him. Even if we keep him and Riley or Ozzie got hurt and Johan was playing every day again, I think there's something inside him that knows the organization doesn't believe in him. I know he's cheap backup help now and has very little if any trade value, but I really wish we'd move him so he'd get a chance to play every day again somewhere for someone who would show some faith in him. He's got really good sound basic fundamentals in his swing and I think he can straighten it back out again. His leg kick got super high this year and he swung for the fences almost every at bat, and that's not his strength. He could hit 20-25 HR just using his normal swing prior to this season, but for whatever reason he tried to hit for power this year. I don't know if he felt like that's how you make money now in the game or if the team pushed him that way, who knows, but I feel like it hurt him. I'm generally not a big fan of the "change of scenery" concept people are so fond of using, but I do think it applies here. It's a shame because I think he'd like to be a part of our team, he came up with all these guys and they seem close. But I'll bet if he was asked and would be honest, he'd say he'd rather move on and start again somewhere else.

I agree with Uck...
Whatever the cause and whatever the blame, I don't think Camargo will ever get it back here and his best chance is to move on. I don't think we can get much for him though and the best we could do is to make him part of a package deal.
