Heck with Badhair, let him go. Save buku dollars,,,. Guaranteed he goes backwards. Let Camargo be in outfield, let Riley do the third base thing, send Nick packing, send Flowers packing as soon as possible. Getting rid of Austin Riley at any price short of stupidity will be a major mistake.

I'm starting to think the Braves should just move on from Donaldson. It's becoming obvious it's more about getting every last million possible than playing in Atlanta. Sign Castellanos for 4/$60M, Puig for 1/$9M, or trade for Marte and let Camargo and Riley battle it out for 3rd base.

Perfect protection for Freeman, and supposedly improving as an outfielder. He's young, too. Perfect fit, except for Snit's love for all things Markakis. |

I like all of that except Puig, he's such a headcase I don't want him anywhere near our clubhouse and players. Every forum I read, there are people wanting to sign Puig for their team and they say maybe a vet can get through to him--if someone was able to get through to him it would have happend by now, he's played with plenty of vets and Latinos and nada so far on that front. |

2018--> .298/.354/.500/.854 with a 130 wRC+
2019--> .289/.337/.525/.863 with a 121 wRC+
And in 2019 he had a UZR/150 of -4.9 which is not disastrous.
I won't bother to mention who had a -5.9 UZR/150 in 2019.
And no it's not Nick, he had a -8.5 UZR/150 in 2019.

-5.9. Ozuna? Dansby? I know it wasn't Acuña. Acuna was 2.9, he got docked for range. And it wasn't Ozuna, he was something like an 8.6 which is one of those that makes me HIGHLY question defensive advanced stats. He got a good rating for his arm and he could hardly get the ball into the infield because of his shoulder. And he had surgery on that before 2019 season started. Ozuna also got high marks for range and that's not accurate either. Ozuna had a great arm early in his career, but after he had the shoulder problem he makes Nick look like he has a cannon. |

It’s funny and telling that the Gnats are willing to go with that group on their infield. Shows JD what his worth really is. Sounds like the Gnats have by far the top bid, I guess JD doesn’t want to play there and is holding out for someone to top their offer. I hope he signs with them and then has four bad years, lol.....
