Such a disappointing end to the season. Let’s see what AA and company do to make the 2020 season one to remember.
Go Braves!

Keep JD and let Nick and Snit go they have had their usefullness here. I know, Snit is comming back but do not have to like it
JD won't be cheap but do you want to turn the keys to Austin Riley who was overmatched once he want through the league - he is a question mark
Folty really has to go after this how long can you wait, its not like he is some kid in his early 20s
Improved pitching is needed, good luck to Alex - need better mid tiered and back end SP's
I think we are stuck with Melancon and Greene at the back end of the pen - mixed results is what we had from them

Time to get creative.
Work a trade with Cubs, perhaps Ender for Kimbrel?
Decline Neck, look at Corey Dickerson or Nick Castellanos for corner OF.
Decline Hamilton's option, resign for lesser amount ($1Mish)
Decline Teheran
Decline Flowers
Resign O'Day
Resign Joyce
Retain Duvall
Sign Grandall
Sign Ordozzi or Pineda for rotation
Convert Touki to the bullpen
1. OF R Acuna 2. 2B S Albies 3. 1B L Freeman 4. RF R Castellanos 5. C S Grandal 6. 3B S Camargo 7. SS R Swanson 8. OF S Duvall / Hamilton
1. C R Jackson 2. OF S Hamilton / Duvall 3. UT R Culberson 4. OF L Joyce
1. R Soroka 2. R Odorizzi 3. L Fried 4. R Folty 5. L Newcomb
1. R Kimbrel 2. R Greene 3. R Melancon 4. R O'Day 5. L ? 6. R Touki 7. R Jackson 8. L Muller

I'm gonna do my best to just back off for a bit. I do have one piece of advice for pit, though. If you're not gonna be seen when things are going well, why not just abstain altogether? You're nowhere to be found when we're winning, and frankly, I'm starting to believe you're just a troll.

Not out of the gate. His plate discipline (and corresponding K%) need to show us he's made progress in AAA first. He K'd 36% of the time with us, which just about makes it impossible to be productive.
If he can get to <20% in AAA, he'll be ready to come back up, IMO. Besides, just like in 2019, an injury will eventually necessitate his callup, but as the season ended I trust Camargo more than Riley. I trust Donaldson more than either of them, but you never know when age will finally catch up with you, and I feel like Catcher is the bigger hole for us anyway. Camargo/Riley is a step down from Donaldson, but we have a huge void at catcher, and Grandal is about the only strong option around

Actually ... Probably let Joyce walk, and keep Markakis as our LH pinch hitting option.

I'll throw up in my mouth if we keep Markakis.

I think we keep markakis for his 6 mil salary vs paying him 2 mil to go away. .
What I would personally be happy with-
-find a way to sign JD to 2 year deal option for third year -Riley starts in left to get consistent at bats -Markakis/duvall/ whoever playing right until Pache or Waters is ready -Bumgarner -Pen
Force Snit to rest our damn players! And work on bunting, stealing bases, and the basics because it’s obvious the post season is a different animal.
Pache and Waters are very key to me. They provide speed and defense that is vital to post season play.

I think I'd rather have a good starter than to keep Badhaircut at what it will cost. Let him sign with the phailies and sit on the DL half the year, because that's probably what's gonna happen with him.

Julio was pretty decent this year and with the question marks surrounding the young guys I think we pick up his option as an innings eater.

Cole Soroka Fried Folty Wright/Touki/Anderson (?)

Cole would be great, but we all know that ain't gonna happen. That's why I suggested Wheeler, who might find a comfort zone being back home and finally maximize his potential.
