Yeah, but, well, you know, we can't trust him at 3B again! Of course not ,wouldn't suggest such a nonsensical concept YAHTZEE!!!

Non tender deadline is today. We have 9 players to decide on - Folty, Greene, Duvall, Swanson, Jackson, Culberson, Camargo, Murphy, and Dayton. Murphy seems to be a definite non tender. Not sure who else we may be willing to part ways with to free up some money. Folty, Swanson and Culberson seem most likely to be tendered a contract, followed by Duvall, Camargo, Jackson and Greene, unless they are traded. Dayton could be cut loose. Although if we decide to move Newk back to the rotation, it leaves Smith as the only quality LH in the pen.

They'll tender Dayton. Lefty reliever at $800K? No-brainer. They might tender him then trade him, but they'll tender him. I think they non-tender Greene, personally.

Greene was great the last six weeks of the season, I want to see him stay.

With Smith, Melancon, Greene, possibly Newk, Webb, O'Day … we have A LOT of solid options
I know money-wise it makes sense to cut loose Greene and keep a cheaper option like Jackson, but I'd rather see us keep the better player, not the most economical.

Greene has historically been up and down, and 2020 is in line for a down........

I agree, and Melancon scares me, I wish he would go.

Greene is only due $6.5M this year, it’s not like he’s going to break the bank. I’d rather have him and another good player than use the money for Moustakas.

Hader? What would you give up to get him? And would it be worth over paying to keep Mets from getting him

Mark Bowman @mlbbowman It sounds like the Braves may non-tender Charlie Culberson before tonight's deadline. This would not be a popular decision. Culberson's value would seemingly be increased next year when the 26-man rosters are put in place.

Not at all happy about this move. Worst of the offseason so far.

Why??? I know there are valid baseball reasons, but man, he was such a great fit on this team.
