This is like bragging because you got the last available girl in the bar who weighed under 230 pounds at closing time. Yours only weighed 220, so good for you! So, if the Braves couldn’t sign Grandal, they should have done nothing? Well at least we should toilet paper Grandal’s house.

That’s too far a drive. Kinda like how Atlanta, and Florida, where they play their ST games, is far from Grandal’s home.

Start naming names. Which assets would you have traded for what catcher and how do you know the team in question would have made the trade? Braves get: Willson Contreras Cubs get: Ender Inciarte Touki Toussaint Alex Jackson So are you prepared to say the Cubs take that deal, and AA is an idiot for not thinking of it? I mean if that is such a no-brainer deal why didn't the Cubs call us and suggest it?

I’m gonna be straight up honest with y’all. If the Braves sign Ozuna, and trade for a TOR starter, along with all the other moves they’ve made, I’m gonna be pretty happy.

Ya, pretty much, but we don’t even know whether AA has even talked to the Cubs and if they’re even interested in an even swap trade.

Shoot, if they sign Ozuna and Moose and don’t get a TOR, I’ll be happy. If we wanna file AA as an idiot, I’m prepared to do it based on what I learned recently. Did you know that last off-season Charlie Morton was a FA and he actually had his agents call Atlanta to talk about a reunion...and the Braves weren’t interested.

Yes AA is an idiot because he didn't think of it and the Cubs would have done it! 2. Well we don't know what AA did or didn't do and we don't have any idea if the Cubs would have even been interested.

Have you seen Ozuna throw the ball from the OF during the last two seasons? He’s a super streaky hitter, and he has a bunch of really weird rituals he does.

I have no idea what calls AA made and didn’t make. I never said AA is an idiot because he didn’t think of it. For all I know, he did think of it and the Cubs said no, and then countered with a stupid offer that made it obvious they weren’t really interested in trading him, or AA is an idiot. He’ll if I know. I assume he made some calls, though.

Braves paid Keuchel $13 million for a few months. We do know that.

I assume he made some calls, though. I made my post because people like Cheaters tend to say things like "we should have traded our unwanted prospects for their viable AS player" or "we should have given up 4 of our top 20 for a 1 year guy". I wanted to hear what he specifically had to say. I find trade speculation hilarious and worthless and you point out exactly why. We have no idea what might have been done or what wasn't done and what other teams might have been willing to talk about or not talk about it. Saying we should have done this or that is stupid and pointless unless we are talking about things we are much more certain we could control entirely ourselves.
