That’s the thing though. Had the Braves won those two games like they should have, then Snit’s a genius, right? It’s a pretty thin line between moron and genius, I guess. Braves didn’t get it done, plain and simple. Let’s hope the results are different in 2020. No. Just because you win doesn't change a decision to from being bad to being wise. It just means you got lucky. Maybe casual fans look at baseball that way, but I don't think anyone here does. Bad moves are bad moves and good ones are good ones regardless of the result. Sometimes you get lucky and overcome the bad ones and sometimes the good ones just don't work out. |

Wrong We had to use him in game twice in the series and in game 5 because our manager is a dolt. Had we used him as we should have used him, he would have pitched 1 game and in the 1st game he pitched in the playoffs this year he was fantastic, earning us the win. Snit is the best Manager in the NL. It's not his fault he didn't have a proven SP to pitch 2 games. No he isn't. |

Braves sign D'Arnaud at catcher. I actually like this move. A lot of money for a guy with his history. Hoping he stays healthy and Langliers/Contreras make some strides quickly... Now go get Bum. |

I think we can still sign Bumgarner and Badhaircut if we want. That would leave us with almost no flexibility, though.

I think there are about 60 million reasons for that. I just hope they use some of the money they "saved" to sign a starter and a bat they can stick behind Freddie in the lineup. I don't think I can take a replay of Markakis in the cleanup spot. |

I think this greatly increases the odds that we're going to sign either Moustakas or Ozuna to be that guy hitting behind Freddie, neither of which excites me. |
