It seems I’ll be in the minority on this, but would it be the worst thing in the world for the Braves not to get bogged down in a long term contract and just wait a little longer for the likes of Pache, Waters, and Riley to cement themselves on the MLB roster? I know we’ve been spoiled the last two years, but I’m thinking maybe a step back might lead to a longer term of success than trying to fill holes with money, on older players. Just a thought. that's why I said sign PUIG. We keep everyone and don't throw 2020 away

What about this the royals have struggled the last 2 seasons and there farm is not the best. So why not put together a package for both Hunter Dozier and salvador Perez that would fix our problems. And would only cost maybe 2 top 30 prospects and some lower level pitching

He was pretty much an ace from 2004-06. Anyway, the King Felix signing is reminiscent of that. IMO

www.ajc.com/sports/1995-world-series-braves/Wow. Can't believe 25 years have passed since the Braves won the World Series. Where in the world has the time gone? Still, to me, the greatest moment in Braves history is when Marquis Grissom chased down that fly ball and the celebration began. Been way too long since we've experienced that pure joy and satisfaction of accomplishing the ultimate goal in sports - let's go get it done in 2020, Braves!

Probably because I was at that fateful Game Four where that "never to be mentioned again" PH took Wohlers deep and the Braves blew a 6-0 lead. Should have won that game and gone up 3-1 in the Series. I can live with 91 and 92 because we were so young and winning was such a new thing to us. And 99 - the Yankees were just better. But we should have won back to back championships in 95-96 which would have cemented that team as one of the best of all time.

Yeah if someone ever says that guys name I break into a twitch that can only be stopped with pills. It's amazing how one decision can alter the course of an entire series. That unnamed PH could not do anything but foul off Wohlers heat, but for some unknown reason, they decided to speed up his bat by throwing a slider. I'll never get that. He goes FB, he probably gets him out. They get out of that inning, they more than likely win the game and the series.
