and the long wait continues... Yep, I watched the game, my condolences, I'm too familiar with the feeling.
I thought the interference call that took away the goal from Toronto was pretty iffy, the Maple Leaf player had stopped and the Lightning player skated into him. It was kind of a pick/interference but not intentional, we see this same thing in the NFL and in both leagues it's a pretty iffy call. If the Maple Leaf player had kept skating and blocked the Tampa Bay player that would be different, but to me he stopped soon enough to say they should have let that go, the Tampa player didn't have his head up and ran into it. Not that that alone decided the series, but it still was B.S. in a game 7.

Edmonton beats the Kings to advance, Oilers fans sing a Bon Jovi song at the end. Ghey.

That's true but you sort of grow numb to the reasons why. We Braves fans know about that at a lesser level. Edmonton beats the Kings to advance, Oilers fans sing a Bon Jovi song at the end. Ghey. Extremely ghey Oh and just for the record, I am also a Calgary Flames fan for obvious reasons and I sort of root for the Predators. Having no home NHL team, I am a free agent.

Wow, crazy game 7 in Calgary, the Dallas goalie played out of his head. The Calgary/Edmonton series will be a good one.
I'm not overly confident for sure with the Blues playing the Crapalanche now, they've been our el guapo for the last couple of years. They swept us last year, dominating every game. We do have 3 really good scoring lines and Binnington seems to be back to his old self. If our defensemen are healthy I'll feel like we have some kind of chance, we're just going to have to play at our best to do it.

This Calgary/Edmonton game is crazy... Now 6-5 Flames in the 2nd lol, ended up 9-6, what an insane playoff game!
I'm looking forward to seeing how game 2 plays out now.
Big win for the Blues tonight after getting absolutely stomped in the first game. Game one went to overtime but the score should have been 10-2 by the end of regulation, between all the posts the Avs hit and all the great saves Binnington made. The Blues adjusted nicely and clamped down in game 2, in for an interesting series.
All the series left should be good ones, although Tampa Bay has a big advantage now after winning the first two games on the Panthers home ice. The Lightning scored the winning goal with 3.8 seconds left tonight, what a brutal way to lose a playoff game.
And then there's the Bruins......
