Yeah obviously not what I was hoping for, or expecting for that matter. If you consider that the Blues are 6-7 on home ice in the playoffs this year and 9-3 on the road, I guess I’m supposed to be glad game 7 is a road game. Why can’t my frigging teams win at home???

Yeah nobody is complaining now. 10-3 on the road during the playoffs, that’s unreal.
If you can imagine. I went to Blues games in 1968 when I was a kid, the first year they had an NHL team, and I’ve been a rabid fan for 52 years waiting for this day. We truly felt jinxed, they’ve had so many good teams over the years and choked so many times. I had given up hope we’d ever win the Cup in my lifetime. I’m on cloud nine now!

Bruins choked again thanks to our Choke goalie Touka Rask
And Marchand should be shown the elevator shaft for his dumb first period mistake coming off the ice for a shift change that allowed the second Blues goal with 7 seconds left in the first
Rask has a history of choking in the playoffs, he is a loser - 2010 3-0 blown series vs Philly, the 2 goals let in vs Chicago in '13 in game 6 and he played his worst game of the yr with home ice advantage
Thankless season -- nothing is more thankless than losing 3 games at home in the final
Bruins fans should be outraged - I am -- 14 stanley cup final losses, most in NHL history - tired of this team being such a let down
As for the Blues, they are on my S list of teams like the Yankees, NY Giants, Lakers, Canadiens, Flyers and some others -- I do not congratulate them cause I am a sore loser and hate this series - Angry as hell

I'm too young to remember the Flames before Calgary and the Thrashers are a dear piece of my childhood that got ripped away too early, but I go for the Islanders this time of year. 1st place atop the Met after an amazing January run. We'll see how they finish. It was not the fault of the fans that the Thrashers got ripped away from us I don't think we will ever get the NHL back though, who will pay a half bil for an expansion NHL team for this city I went back to the Bruins who was my childhood team, they let me down in a miserable way Boston fans should be mad about this too, played a bad game in the biggest moment of the yr

I didn’t think the win could get any sweeter, but it just did! This is just as good as seeing Marchand and his fellow twats crying on the ice when the game ended!

I don't make any excuses for the Bruins, those bums beat themselves in game 7
They did deserve to lose when you lose in OT at home and play your worst home game of the yr in the finale

I'm leaving the next several games to Alexander Haig and crew. I might post a little here and there, if so not much.
I'm flying to St. Louis Sunday to celebrate the Cup win with old time fellow Blues friends, coming back to NC on Thursday. My friends are unfortunately also Cardinals fans, but thankfully I got to laugh at them this year the way we beat the Cards. They did talk me into going to a couple Cardinals games, Tuesday and Wednesday, so make sure you root for the A's so I don't have to put up with them being happy with their team. Man there forum is hilarious right now, there is so much hate. Imagine 30 Westie Dogs posting in one forum. It's the forum-of-misery.
On the bright side, Ryan O'Reilly, Vladi Tarasenko, Patrick Maroon and Coach Berube are being honored on the field before Wednesday's game, with the Cup, which is super amazing. I'm actually going to be within a few hundred feet of the Cup, while my team celebrates, hot damn!

Then I think we get one easy because of how big the Atlanta market is. I am not counting on anything though. I know there are several cities already in line ahead of us.

Given that we have four major league sports (I do count MLS and the United has developed a base of rabid fans) with the passion for HS and college football, even if the league goes to 40 teams I see them expanding to other cities before us I do see Houston getting their chance before us - the history of franchise failure is not there like us whether its our fans fault or not I still hold on to the memories, going on ten yrs and its not forgotten - the ATL Spirit was bad at least they did not mess up the Hawks to the point they left town
