So who is going to start the GoFundMe for Fredrico? I think that's an admin function.

That’s five hours from me, I need a way to send things to them! I hope he has a dumpster where people can put donations, like cans of corn from Dollar General and stuff.

Seriously though, the longer this drags out the more likely he is to leave. IMO. I really don't know that anyone will offer him $200 million. They might, he's been a great player, but he is a first baseman and he is 32 years old.

Kevan should be higher on that list after all He’s done for the Braves. (upper case H intended since Kevan is a god)

Sure, most people might put Kevan ahead of Danny Santana, but NOT ME!

This should have been taken care of last off season He won't say it publicly but I am sure he is pissed about how this has gone. The price has gone up. We dragged - whatever Plan B there is it is not good. I want no part of any of Plan B but guess there can be some warm body to take his place. One thing we can all call him is an MVP and WS champion. No real replacement. First base was a dumping ground for about a decade before he got here save for the one yr of Texiera whom we dumped for peanuts. Robert Fick, Casey Kotchman that is about what your replacement is with maybe a few more HRS

Robert Fick, Casey Kotchman that is about what your replacement is with maybe a few more HRS • You have no way of knowing if he is pissed or not. • You have no way of knowing the price has gone up. • You have no way of knowing what plan B is, and whether it is good or not. In fact, I'm pretty sure you suggested what you claimed was a viable plan B just a few days ago. You've just decided to do what you do best, and turn full doom and gloom.

I am not full gloom and doom but am a realist and am prepared to see him go if that is what he has to do
Maybe it all works out - the business of big time sports stinks it is what it is.
As for Plan B - for now the only pretty good option would be to trade for Olson and he should not come cheap. As I say, for NOW though there could be something out of the blue we have no idea about
The existing FA options are not good - want no part of any of it unless you have to if they cannot come up with something by ST. Last resort
As for the price going up well that is the business of the game. Common sense and history indicates that is likely the case.
Its not the end of the world if Freddie goes but its gone on a long time. Will sting from a fan point of view etc, but the team should still be pretty good assuming payroll is what is reported to be.
We got our crown in 2021, not likely to repeat that (no one does this day in time) but should be consistently good for a while as it can be seen now.
Keep that up for a few yrs and I am okay with it.
