I got to see Kaline at the back end of his career, he was not as hyped as some but was great for a 13 yr period from 1955 to 67
Too bad he had a broken collarbone in 1962, he was limited to 100 games and still had 29 HRS and almost 100 RBI with the high average and OBP
He would have had that sensational near 40 HR 120 RBI or more had he been fully healthy and we would have been talking about one of the great seasons of all time
Great player, and strong in his one and only WS appearance

Now I see COVID-19 for what it really is...
A trick by MLB to get us to accept the universal DH.
Well played MLB... well played..

Now I see COVID-19 for what it really is... A trick by MLB to get us to accept the universal DH. Well played MLB... well played.. I can see that.....but I’m going to put that just slightly behind Covid being a plot by world leading Illuminati to keep Trump from being re-elected. At this point with Riley and Camargo both thriving so far in spring training, I could live with the DH. The more ABs we can get those guys the better, this is a big season for both of them.

The Sox could be down this year, but the Twins could be wicked good.

Watch out for Tampa Bay, I do not like the way they play and their 21st century gimmicks like the opener but the results are greater than what is on paper Still think the Braves come out as the cream of the crop in that division. Twins, yes they could be good but is it any tougher than what is in the regular NL East. I am assuming the Phillies and Muts will be a bit better and we know about the Nats. As for the bottom feeders, I think the Fish are better than the Orioles

In the end, some baseball is better than nothing even with no fans
For now all we have is the NFL draft for those who care about football. Not a Roger Godell fan but in this case for this time its thank you Mr Godell as much as I hate to say it
This is coming from a Patriots/Falcons fan

I wish the Bucs still wore their late 70's yellow and black uniforms with the striped hat.
Random thought of the day.

I've also heard the NL will probably use the DH for this, and I'm actually ok with that because theoretically it gets Riley and Camargo's bats both in the lineup, and they both had really good springs.....but in reality we can probably bet on Snitker using it as a way to get Nick in the lineup.
