I drive a large Johnson. Needless to say, it's an automatic with overdrive. Sounds like an awful lot of over compensation going on there. LMAO. 2015 Nissan Rogue for me. I drive a LOT and this car is a jewel for what I do. Easy in and out, plenty of room, 26 mpg overall, and all wheel drive. Hard to beat, and no, I don't like straight drive cars for everyday use. The constant shifting is just a pain in the arse to me.

Rogue's are nice. City driving doesn't bother me with the straight drives and I have two bad knees, but I also don't drive much in the city.

Bro, do you even lift?
(by the way I saw what you did there)
I excel in the extremely difficult walking dead lift You strike me as a guy who drives a Fred Flintstone mobile.

Ouch.
I was just looking at Riley's 2nd half numbers last year, as bad as the eye test looked.....these numbers are more troubling than I expected!
.161/.211/.276/.486
with a 22 wRC+, a .115 ISO and a 41% strikeout rate.
I've been thinking the 3rd base job should be up for grabs, but after looking at this closer it may be a really good idea to plan on starting him in AAA for at least the first month to see if he's showing improvements. It's kind of a tough spot though, because he's already shown he can destroy minor league pitching......

I’m gonna wait and see how he does in ST. Apparently, he worked with some people during the off-season and noticed issues with his swing that made him late on fastballs. TC recently did a deep dive on his struggles and found that his inability to hit the slider was a problem from day 1. What actually hurt him was his inability to catch up to fastballs. When he was crushing that wasn’t a problem. So, the idea is that by identifying issues in his swing and correcting them he now won’t be late on the fastballs like he was when he was struggling.

I agree spring training will be a good measure of where Riley stands. I could tell he had trouble with fastballs too, I just assumed it was because he was so mentally screwed by the breaking stuff. It’s pretty common for all hitters to fall into that zone when they’re struggling with breaking stuff. They’re doing so much thinking in the box and while the pitch is coming they get hesitant and it slows them down on fastball reaction.

Hmmmmm, surprised they didn’t announce they also extended Neck and Luke thru 2023. Guess they’ll do that later. The baseball manager guy and his baseball player guys.

No one outside of power lifters in training should be going to the gym and doing dead lifts.
I will run over all of you with my F-250 Power Stroke Diesel

I'm just glad they're keeping the coaching staff intact. Getting Wash to come back, Weiss, TP, EY...I think that continuity is important. I still think the jury is out on Walker and Kranitz though.

I’m super glad we still have Ron Washington, I’d love to swap him and Snitker.

Good moves all around Especially pleased that Alex will be the head of baseball operations at least till mid decade. He brought the stability and pride back to the organization and of course winning again after the shame and losing brought on by the prior regime. He is young enough to maybe be in place the rest of the decade. That is far away of course Those 3 humbling seasons has made me appreciate the division titles more, hey we were spoiled for quite some time give or take a couple of skunk years (2006 and 2008) and one skunk month in September of 2014 Its a matter of time the playoff breaks come our way. Won't it be sweet if the playoff revenge came vs the hated Cardinals in the NLCS.
