Dang it if you had asked a year ago I could have done it. So sorry! Ummmm........I don't give a sheet about your house!! LMAO Well I don't care that you want some money fronted to you so we'll call it even!

Best hope is the Ender can be healthy all year and rebuild his value at least close to the level it was in 2016/17
He has been down a bit last two yrs in part due to multiple injuries
He is not that old. We have one more yr with him till the two kids are ready. But he must stay healthy and not get off to as slow a start he has had the last two yrs
I can see Neck being back as the back up OF for another yr after this one - sorry Neck haters
And Johan has a place too, come to think of it why do we really need Joc Pederson and his 7 and a half mil salary (for now). He will not get cheaper

I still think the better time to move Ender will be next winter unless we can see the kids are ready this year
Or, the trade deadline (could be this yr) since Ender does heat up in August and September. His better value might be at this trade deadline.
His value, we will know at the time
Sure we would like Joc Pederson's power, I just do not see a trade fit for what we have and what they would want. They have a total surplus of players anyway and of course we do not want to trade the top end of our farm which is what they would ask for and I would if I were another GM. We will need to develop Wright, Ian and Bryse, they will be needed in a couple of yrs.
I would not want to sign a big time SP for 7, 8 or 9 yrs. And pay 30ish mil on top of that? Even the rich can get burned on that

They were receiving a young infielder with a rather low ceiling as the headliner in the Angels trade. That said, I don't see a fit, since the Dodgers obviously want a MLB ready infielder and that's something we just don't have. It's why we're sorta stuck with Hair Boy.

How would you set the over/under on Nick Markakis' at-bats in 2020? -- @sethsosebee
It would probably be best to set it around 230 plate appearances because it’s hard to see how manager Brian Snitker could find semi-regular playing time for Markakis. If the Braves are facing a left-handed starter, the best option would be to move Ronald Acuña Jr. to center and play Adam Duvall in right field.
There will be days when Markakis plays left to give Ozuna a break, and there might be a day or two when Freeman concedes it’s best to rest. My guess is, barring an injury, he’ll draw approximately 40 starts and get well-acquainted with the pinch-hitting lifestyle.
Mark Bowman has covered the Braves for MLB.com since 2001.
The evanescence of Markakis ?

I'm going to guess 650. Nah. The thing you are not factoring in is that Snit has undying devotion to both Ender and Nick. He's going to do his best to find playing time for both in the one OF spot available. That should work out the way everyone on here has been clamoring for - less ABs for Nick and less ABs for Ender.

The Athletic had an article today about the sign stealing. A couple of interesting notes that I NEED to know more about.
1.) McCann confronted Beltran and Beltran blew him off.
2.) McCann didn’t take part in the sign stealing.
#2 is a big one because I heard the “BANG!” during McCann’s at-bats on the vid I saw. Could it be possible that Beltran and Co. screwed McCann over by banging the trash can, when he didn’t want them to, in order to make him an accomplice and keep him quiet?
McCann should speak out.
