Donaldson gets a 4-yr deal with the Twins, $92 Mil (Same $23 /year we paid him), and a 5th year option.
AA says he wanted to keep JD but said it would be thought to compete financially.

Does AA trade for Bryant now? Camargo is gonna get his chance. I think they go to spring training and tell him and Riley the job is wide open, whoever steps up has it. I don't see us acquiring Bryant unless they come way down on their expectations on what they'll get in return. |

You have to take risks to make it in business, but more importantly hey have to be smart risks, JD at this point for 4 years and that kind of money is a stupid risk.

If the season started today, Johan Camargo is likely the #Braves third baseman with Austin Riley starting at Triple-A. They could now pivot to an Ozuna or Castellanos as a possible RH corner outfielder to platoon with Nick Markakis to plug in the cleanup spot.
