On a different subject.... That was pretty clutch of Dansby to make them pay so much for walking Big Mac to get to him. Agreed. Happy for him, that was a YUGE hit!
Confidence and lack of it seems to really affect him, this should really boost his confidence.
Now if we could get 3, 4 and 5 going.....but big double by J.D. at least to start the 9th. When he hit that my first instinct was that he hit it too low and the third baseman would catch it. Did you see the replay from the outfield? That sucker had about an 6 foot curve on it. Edman actually got a glove on it, but between the velocity and the curve he had no chance to catch that.
One thing about Badhaircut, he hits rockets. By the way, he hasn't been hitting. He just might come alive now.

I have to admit that sometimes I can't watch either. It comes from a lifetime of letdowns. And there's no worse way to lose a game than have your bullpen blow it at the end. Truly a dagger to the heart when that happens.
Which reminds me, I have to go read the Cards board so I can soak in their pain and agony and misery!!!
Did you even post during the game? No, I had gone to the Carolina Panthers football game today, it takes me two and half hours to get home afterwards, riding the light rail part way then driving home. So I had to catch up on the baseball game when I got home about 6:50PM. It didn't take long to catch up on the baseball game since nothing much happened until the 9th.

If we can just get 3 and 4 going consistently, I can live with whatever from #5.

You?
Waynesville, NC. That's about 30 minutes west of Asheville. Thought you might be near here, which is also about 2 1/2 hours from Charlotte.

Go Braves— I often disagree with Snits thinking and” tactical wisdom” but the team seems to love him and they sure play their hearts out for him.

I've lived 95% of my life in NC, totaling 53 years with my two stints here.....stayed at Maggie Valley a couple of times playing golf, seems like the first time there was in the early 80's. We go to Cherokee and the mountains in general a couple of times a year. Seems like we played golf in Hendersonville way back in the day too. We have family in Knoxville and Lexington, KY so we run through that area frequently.....go to Asheville to see live music a couple of times a year, I love the whole region over there. I think wncbravesfan lives in Asheville, and the guy who posted as "south" on the other bored lives farther west in NC than you do. We have our annual trip to the mountains to see the leaves in a week or so, not expecting much with the blistering hot dry weather we've had for 2-3 months around here.

In the post game on Fox Sport South, the guys felt Keuchel would start game 4 ...with Newcomb in for long relief if needed and a well rested Folty for game 5, if needed. Due to Keuchel’s low pitch count which were fairly low stress.
