Still not a baseball cap. They don't own the logo, but they do have the rights to make the caps.
Not saying I agree and I think if there is a claim of some sort of infringement that it is tenuous at best and wouldn't stand up, but that's really not the case. They complained to MLB "just 'cause" and MLB laid down an edict "just 'cause".
It's stupid, but so was moving the AS game and a lot of other things MLB does.

Yeah what should we expect, for some reason the league doesn't like us since the Hart/Coppy fiasco.....we were doing the same thing every team in baseball was doing, but we were the only ones punished. And they've had it in for us ever since.

With the White Sox struggling I wouldn't be surprised to see them do a reboot this season. That said I would like to see AA make a play for Tim Anderson. He's in his free agent year, although there is a club option. The question would be what they would have to give up for and what chances are they could sign him to a reasonable new deal.

That's not a bad depth signing.

According to David O'Brien of The Athletic, Michael Soroka is an option to start on Sunday against the Blue Jays.
Advice: The Canada native appears likely to take the ball for Sunday's series finale in Toronto following the Braves' decision to give veteran right-hander Charlie Morton an extra day of rest, pushing him back to Monday against the Rangers. The 25-year-old righty hasn't pitched in the majors since the pandemic-shortened 2020 campaign due to injury. It's setting up to be quite a moment.
