Eh... I don't think I've ever really hated a Brave other than BJ Upton. They were the Bad News Braves.. sort of lovable in their badness. Dan Kolb anybody?

Mama taught me never to hate...but if I did, it would be Philadelphia, politicians, the media, and Rutgers University.....otherwise I can't hate anyone who wears my tribal colors...

Has anyone seen Matt Adams' stats? Who saw that coming? Give him time I would have loved to keep Adams, and I'm pretty sure the Braves would have too, but you can't play him anywhere except 1st base. He's a luxury, as we all know. The cat can get hot, though, that's for sure.

I wanted to keep him just as a LH pinch hitter, to give Free a day off every now and then.
Really though the only option for the guy was a team that could use him at 1st, and that wasn't us.

Always loved Medlen... I will always remember this:

I laughed so hard every time he'd bust open the bullpen door when the camera would pan on the guys warming up.

Tyler Pastornicky
Drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays, the Braves had high hopes for Tyler when he was called up to the big leagues on April 5th, 2012. He was sent back down on June 2, 2012 with the worst fielding percentage of any player in MLB.
I don't know anything else about Tyler Pastornicky.
It's like he's been wiped from humanity's record book.

As I recall, the organization seemed to favor him over Simmons that first year.

Medlen is probably my favorite pitcher. Loved his personality, pitching, and the fact that he was short. Too bad about the TJs. I remember he and beachy going down back to back days in ST. That was the catalyst for the decision to rebuild

Medlen was one of the good guys. One more thing about Medlen. I accepted the flat bill because of him, it was hard to get used to though. I mean they still looked stupid, but I accept it's their style.
