If dansby continues his career like he has this year I think everyone will be happy with what he has become

My comment has nothing to do with dansby, thought maybe someone would’ve been int rwas stercin a former brave lik the post says... I'm happy for Andrelton, I always liked him. I did not like watching him fall off balance across home plate every time he swung and missed, sometimes almost falling flat on his face, but I still liked him personally and I hope he continues to shine. His glove work and arm were a great pleasure to watch on a daily basis.

I am and thanks for posting the link about Andrelton.
There are some folk though that are fixated on losing him, but I'm a look forward guy.

Where are they now - Former Braves catcher Jody Davis
Jody Davis played was with the Braves for 3 very uneventful seasons. He did have the pleasure of catching for some guys who would end up in the HOF as those 3 years were 88, 89, and 90. Davis, a lifetime career .251 hitter was acquired in 1988 in part because of the way he hit in old Atlanta Fulton County Stadium. However upon joining that magic seemed to disappear.... probably because he was no longer facing Braves pitchers.
Jody has enjoyed a minor league managing career since his time with the Braves, and at age 61 is currently managing the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, the Reds AA affiliate.
He also has the distinction of being the one and only championship winning manager of the Canadian Baseball League. In 2003 he managed the Calgary Outlaw Moose to a 24-13 record before the league folded mid-season. Having already ordered the championship trophy, the awarded it to the Outlaws for having the best record when the league went belly up.... or maybe they gave it to them because Davis was the only one who showed up to the exit interview... who knows.
Here is the career highlight of Jody Davis.. it happened when he was a Cub, and amazingly it didn't happen against the Braves

Jerry Royster 76-84, 88 Snitker would have loved Jerry Royster as he was one of those versatile baseball guys. Jerry played a little outfield, 2nd, 3rd, and SS during his somewhat non-illustrious career with the Braves. After hovering in the 70's and 80's most of his career, Jerry had his best season with Atlanta in 1982 when he posted a 103 OPS+. Despite his lack of hitting prowess (a career .249 average of mostly singles), Royster brought more to the table for Atlanta; He was a pretty bad fielder as well. I went to a lot of games back then and let me tell you that every ball hit to him made you cringe. Royster came to the Braves in trade with the Dodgers where we gave up Dusty Baker. Baker went on to have a great 7 or 8 years in LA, including winning a world Championship in 1981. That's why we were the Braves... we would give up a Dusty Baker and get a Royster in return. Jerry was last seen as a coach with Baltimore around 2012, and even had a brief stint as manager of the Brewers in 2008. He also has a unique place in history because late in 2007, Royster signed on to become the manager of the Lotte Giants in Busan, South Korea, making him the first ever non-Korean to take the helm of one of South Korea's professional baseball clubs. I have no idea what he's doing now, so I will put him down as "milk carton status".

I remember Jerry Royster. God I hated him as a player. He honest-to-goodness did nothing well. When I was a kid, the Braves could hit but couldn't pitch. A little later, I was still a kid, but the Braves couldn't hit or pitch. Jerry Royster was the poster child of that awful era of Braves baseball.

Eh... I don't think I've ever really hated a Brave other than BJ Upton.
They were the Bad News Braves.. sort of lovable in their badness.
