that’s too bad. I always liked Jace Me too. I always thought he looked like one of the great utility baseball player guys. Nice compact swing and can drive the ball at times, put up some nice minor league numbers but just hasn't done it consistently at the big league level. I'd never believe he would be a .215 hitter, but that's what he was with us last year. .234 for his career so far. Surprising. Maybe he needs to play more, I dunno.....

I would have bet money on him being a league average hitter with a decent career as a utility player that saw a lot of action due to being able to play so many positions.

Kenshin Kawakami After his uninspiring time with the Braves, Kawakami returned to his former team, the Chunichi Dragons. He was with them from 2012-2014 , but plagued by injuries he ended his career making only a handful of starts before retiring in 2015. Kawakami in his new career had this to say to his former Atlanta Braves teammates.

Christian Bethancourt - After being traded from the Braves to the Padres and trying his hand at pitching, CB was last seen catching for the AAA afiliate of the Milwaulkee Brewers; The El Paso Chihuahuas. A check today doesn’t show him there anymore, so honestly I don’t have any idea where he is now. Plus I just realized I don’t care enough to look any further. So unless someone else wants to clue us in, I will put him down for... Status = Picture on a milk carton. Jonny Ventors was promoted from AAA to the bigs by Tampa Bay. www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/23316221/jonny-venters-called-tampa-bay-rays-three-tommy-john-surgeriesSent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

Too bad he didn't hit when he was with us. Just a passive/aggressive dig at Dansby from the Dansby hater. Yep. I didn't really understand trading Andrelton when it happened, but he did not show any signs at all that he was going to end up hitting like he has been. And we do still have Newcomb to show for it, I don't think we can call that trade a complete washout until we see what he becomes.

Certainly can't blame Dansby for what Andrelton is doing. I don't even know why we continue to talk about it... It's done, and anyone who says they knew all along that Simmons would do this is lying. We can't even say he would have done this had he remained here... maybe their hitting coach had the magic sauce that worked for him.
Anyway, that deal is long done.. be it a win, a loss, or a wash. Dansby is our SS for now and all I really care about it what he does.
