Two out of three is good enough. Good rebound from Will Smith's hiccup (or meltdown) last night
Sure nice to have Adam back in the fold. Fried good enough hanging in there with not really having his top stuff but he got through with a strong game
Martin not brilliant but good enough for the save, good work from Rich Rod
Right in the middle of things - we have a chance. I would not take back the Duvall trade for no reason he has been part of the solution.
Five out of 6 - cannot complain but we have to keep it up

@gvedak: Kevan Smith will likely finish his Braves career with an OPS lower than Steve Avery, John Smoltz, Tom Glavine, Russ Ortiz, Derek Lower, Rafael Belliard, and 202 others dating back to 1990

We'll probably score 12 and have 15 hits, then Smith will give up the game winner in the 9th. Well ya know... all season long Smitty's been one of the best closer guys in the entire league and that thing last night well that just happens to everyone. .086 hitters are due ya know so you just have to look past that stuff, and my dad always taught me the best thing you can do is just get right back on that horse, and we're going to continue to ride that horse because Smith is our guy and this is baseball guy stuff and baseball guy stuff happens all the time, and you can't let that affect what you do as a manager. I mean I'm not going to make decisions based on facts and stuff because Smith is our guy.
Epic.
And at the risk of having Snit's chihuahua nipping at my ankles again, I'm going to say it's curious that "we" consider Martin ahead of Rodriguez on our closer chain. I like Martin and basically trust him for the most part, but he only has 8 saves (I guess 9 now) in 8 years in the big leagues. Rodriguez has proven he's a legit closer right now, so even though he's 3rd (and seriously maybe even 4th behind Luke) on the closer chain, I'd really like him to be MY baseball game closer guy.

geebus lady, don't link Max's success to Famous Leon... Leon brings the intangibles! "So, exactly what kind of 'intangibles' do you think Smith brings to the team?"
"Eh.......you know, those uh, baseball player guy intangibles."

Pretty sure this is the 1st time all year Snit has double switched. He must have needed to take a crap and one of the other coaches were calling the shots at the moment.
