So who you got in the 1st round. In the NL I'm pulling for the Marlins and Brewers. In the AL, the Twins and the Rangers.

Pulling for the same in NL
Also Rangers over the Rays, but I hope a blimp crashes into the Twins and Jays and they somehow both lose.

Marlins and I'd probably rather see Arizona win, the Brewers seem sneaky scary. I think the Brewers could beat the Dodgers. And obviously maybe us if our pitching keeps going down the toilet.

It was a horrendous call, and ---- the Twins.... and the Jays for their horrendous stadium.

It was a horrendous call, and ---- the Twins.... and the Jays for their horrendous stadium. I quit a fairly casual neighborhood "friendship" over that Twins series. I was living in Charlotte, and a guy in our neighborhood was Hrbek's cousin. It was legit, he had a lot of pictures of them together away from the ballparks and was always bragging about Kent, ad nauseam. So I hated that jagoff even before that series. After all that went on during that series I never talked to that guy on purpose, screw him and his stupid MLB player cousin. I was thinking Hrbek had a bad post season record, I just looked it up, he had a career playoff OPS of .516, so nnnnnyyyyyyyyaaaaaahhhhhhh!
That was such an agonizing series. Even with Jack Morris going for the Twins I still felt really confident Smoltz would come through and we would win game 7 in their park. I have never forgiven bonehead Lonnie Smith for his base running blunder, There's no way that ball could have ever looked catchable from his angle. It wasn't even close.

Rangers up on the Rays 1-0. I'm really ambivalent about this series. Kinda rooting for Texas because the Rays have an attitude. But you have to admire their organization.

Snitker's dream baseball player guy--gritty very limited ability veteran white guy who tries real hard.

They just showed a graphic during the Brewers/D-Backs game saying that over the last 5 playoff seasons teams who out homered their opponents had an .848 winning percentage.

Brewers jumped out to a 3-0 lead, the D-Backs just hit HRs on two consecutive pitches to tie the game 3-3 in the 3rd inning.

Wheeler takes 20 pitches to get through 2.
Luzardo threw 24 I think in the bottom of the first and had two on.
Still 0-0 heading to the bottom of the 2nd
