Betts just made an out in the bottom of the 1st, they said he is now 3 for his last 31 playoff ABs.

They don't know all the blood, sweat, and tears these guys pour into this. Sure, some of them are cocky. What do people expect? They're the best of the best.........and Acuña is at the top of the heap.

I don’t know, this looks like a great time to move Olson to leadoff and Acuna to 8th, how about it Saggysack?

Baltimore becomes yet another dominant regular season division champ to fall victim to the 5 and 5.
5 days off followed by a 5 game series

One way that baseball screwed up royally was giving wild card teams Monday off, then another day or two off at the end of the week. Then in our case the Faillies played game 1 of our series and got another day off. That kept them fresh and still playing some games, and allowed them to keep their rotation in really good shape--they played 3 games in 7 days, with their worst case scenario being 4 games in 7 days if they didn't sweep the wild card series. They can dominate with two top tier pitchers, and no team should be able to do that in any playoff series, especially a freaking wild card team. A wild card team should be forced to pitch their ace or #2 on the next day after the season ends. Don't allow them to set up their damned rotation. That is an advantage that is supposed to go along with winning your division. And ironically we're scrambling.

Agree about playing WC M-W If WC ends on T, then start Division series on TH. MLB is a mess.
