Thinking about next year...under the assumption that we have seen the last of Ozuna in a Braves uniform. (That said...if the MLB institutes the universal DH I could see bringing him back in that capacity)
If Acuna makes it back to start the season...who do the Braves go with in the outfield. Soler and Duvall are on one year deals. Pederson has a mutual option. Do you bring all three back and platoon Duvall and Pederson? Do you let one go? If so which one?
Or do you let Soler and Duvall go and give Pache another shot or maybe Camargo since he is tearing it up at Gwinnett. Although I would think they try to trade Camargo now that he has built his value back up.

Pache is starting to really look good with bat, very confident and aggressive lately. Camargo is on a one year deal, I can’t imagine any way he would sign another contract with us. Surely he’s ready to go somewhere where he’ll get a chance. We should have moved him for whatever we could get at the deadline this year. The funny thing is he is playing first base at Gwinnett. Nothing we have done with him has ever made any sense.

, and pitcher Jacob Webb optioned back to Gwinnett. That'll show him. It serves him right. Why, the nerve of him to have a 3 up and 3 down inning.

Webb just made two appearances and gave up no hits, no walks and struck out three hitters. Going back over his last 5 innings in MLB he's given up 2 hits and no runs. I mean who the hell would want a guy like that around when you have that baseball relief pitcher guy Josh Tomlin to come in and throw gas on the fire in a moments notice?

Even if criminal charges against Ozuna are ultimately dropped, he could still face a suspension from Major League Baseball commissioner Rob Manfred’s office. The league is currently performing its own investigation, and there are numerous instances of suspensions under the domestic violence policy even in the absence of criminal charges. Ozuna appeared in 48 games for the Braves this season. He’s in the first season of a four-year, $65MM contract signed as a free agent this past winter but would not be paid during a suspension under the league’s domestic violence policy.

Even so, it's not going to get us off the hook for his contract. This has played out exactly as I said it would--the rich get out of everything, and then they announce they're sorry and going to get treatment and suddenly they are cured, everything is forgotten and we are supposed to just really ignore and forget any of it ever happened. I knew that based on how this has gone with every rich person during my lifetime.
