Will the Braves young pitchers wilt under the pressure and the prolific Dodgers offense? They ain't the Reds or the fish, you know. On the other hand, if we're fortunate enough to get a lead in the series, will the mighty Dodgers feel the noose tightening? I know one thing.......if I were guaranteed game 7 right now, I'd take that in a heartbeat.

Zero expectations on us, weight of the world on the Dodgers shoulders. If we can win a couple games in the first 3-4 games it could really put the extra pressure on them.
If we lose 10-0 every game I'd still be thrilled with what we did in this short goofy season.
But it would be nice to win!
GO BARVES!!!

I expect our young pitchers to struggle, honestly. I'll be pleasantly surprised if they don't, though. One thing on our side is that the Dodgers hitters haven't seen them. We shall see. That's why they play the games, right?

I'm over the short season thing. To me this year at this point is just as legit as any.

You know, it would be awfully sweet to crush their hopes. I despise their overrated asses.

You know, it would be awfully sweet to crush their hopes. I despise their overrated asses. I've hated the Dodgers forever, since the Steve Garvey days, and my best friend is a Dodgers fan. I'd love to be laughing at him by the time this series is over. I hate any of the big money teams, I always love it when any of them get knocked out. I'm always rooting for the medium and small market teams. And really, the big spenders haven't won that often. The Dodgers will have a ton of pressure on them, they haven't won it all in so long and they've been big favorites to win it most of the time over the last 15 years and haven't managed to do it. They really think they have their best team ever this year, so the pressure is on. It would be nice if we could silence their bats the first game or two and get them squeezing those bats tighter and tighter.

Pretty bad if the fathers were the second best team. The east was no great shakes, either, but the pitching in the east was obviously better. They're good, but they ain't all that.
