Wouldn't that be something if Charlie Culberson figured in as a HERO at some point?Yep, it would be pretty cool 😎.

Dodgers come into this game at -135, so they are a pretty heavy favorite as expected.
Chuck'em.. Chuck'em all to hell.
Snit.. tell them no one expects them to win, but pain is temporary, glory is forever, and sometimes the David's only get one chance to slay Goliath.

He's from out there and all that, you know. Sometimes, that can overwhelm a guy

I don't TOTALLY disagree with that. Hell, we probably benefited as much as anybody from the short season given our pitching problems. No way our pen could have held up like it did for 162 games.

Yeah I've thought about that several times, if we played 162 games we likely would not have won the division given our SP woes. There's always a chance Anderson and Wright would have pitched well all season and pulled us through, and one or two other backend starters could have been acquired to keep us hanging on, but I feel like the odds of that are super miniscule. But it certainly doesn't bother me, catching this break, because every champ in every sport every year has a lot of things go right for them, that's just the way things go.

We also may have been able to give Hamels more time and if there was no Covid we may have had King Felix.

I hate these guys so much. For fraks sake, can we have nice things for once? Please guys.. My hatred for the Dodgers goes all the way back to the old NL West days. Gonna be nice to rekindle that this week.

I think the Dodgers were my first sports hate. Iit was either that or Louisville but I'm pretty sure that the Dodgers pre-date that as UK and Louisville weren't playing until I was nearing double digits in age . 40 years later, I still want them to lose every game.
