I want to see if we can avoid some decision making controversy this time. Like let's not start Ender, or bring Luke Jackson into a close game. Let's not wait until a starter has given up 6 runs to pull them... Just nothing glaringly bizarre, please. How about a lineup like this?
2B-Albies 1B-Freeman LF-Ozuna DH-Markakis SS-Dansby 3B-Sandoval RF-Duvall C-Flowers
CF-Inciarte
How about Ynoa starts game 1?
Will Smith comes in to pitch the 8th inning in a tie game in game 1?
Fried gets pulled after 5 innings in game 1 after throwing only 65 pitches and says later he felt fine?
I love it, sounds as good as Castor Oil on my pancakes. Yum. How about using Luke as your opener in game 2

I am not intimidated by Bauer, sure he had deGrom kind of numbers this year but this is the same guy who has been hit in the past. If you really look at his career he has had two outstanding yrs, 2018 in Cleveland and of course this past yr, though looking at the whole picture he did get beat 4 times this yr, its not like he is Mr invincible. This guy ain't Pedro, Clemens or Koufax This Cincy team is a two game over .500 team plain and simple, in the big picture we were the better team. I am not going to get intimated by a sub 500 team. Also, Bauer has been up and down in the post season. He has one career playoff win. He is beatable I like our chances, there is something different about this team its more complete with the SP clicking as of late. I like watching this Braves team play, and if our guys get into their pen, we might be having some fun I figure we've been a cinderella team all year so why shouldn't it carry over into at least the first round?

Because in Atlanta there is never a glass slipper. It just turns midnight and our schizz turns into a pumpkin.

You know, I'm a traditionalist, but things change. EVERYTHING changes. I wish guys didn't strike out so much. I wish pitchers didn't throw so many pitches and get hurt so much trying to throw the ball 1,000 MPH. I wish we saw more of these elite athletes with tremendous speed stealing bases. I wish batting .300 mattered more. With all of that said, though, I'm looking forward to this postseason........and a lot more than I thought I would. Hopefully, we can advance a round or 2, but if not, it should still be fun.

Not surprised. You can't really blame anybody for picking them. I mean, we've done that to ourselves.

The elements are all there for us to get whipped, but the elements were all there for us to fold when our starting pitching staff disappeared and we didn’t fold then. So we have that in our favor. But traditionally good pitching beats good hitting in a short series, and that’s a concern. It’s going to really suck if we can’t score runs because we will most likely need to score a bunch. But I do still have hope considering the way the guys responding this year so far. Come on Barves, please don’t crush my soul again.

Kris Willis @kris_Willis Braves got great news on the injury front. Brian Snitker said that Chris Martin is better and is expected to be ready for Game 1. Same for Ronald Acuña Jr. and Austin Riley Team was is still deciding on the postseason roster so we may not see that until the morning

Jeff Passan @jeffpassan (Sep 28) If draft order is by 2020 record, here's what it will be:
1) PIT 2) TEX 3) DET 4) BOS 5) BAL 6) ARI 7) KC 8) COL 9) LAA 10) NYM 11) WAS 12) SEA 13) PHI 14) SFG 15) MIL 16) MIA 17) CIN 18) STL 19) TOR 20) NYY 21) CHC 22) CHW 23) CLE 24) ATL 25) OAK 26) MIN 27) SD 28) TB 29) LAD
Jeff Passan @jeffpassan Sep 28 * There are only 29 picks because the Houston Astros were docked first- and second-round picks for their sign-stealing scheme. Otherwise, they would've picked 16th overall.
