#Braves optioned Touki Toussaint to Gwinnett training site after last night's game, recalled hard-throwing righty Jasseel De La Cruz today.

I guess Folty has not progressed to the point where they feel then can give him another chance in the rotation.
They are using guys who have alot less track record than Folty
As for sending Touki down, bottom line is that Touki has not taken advantage of the opportunities he has had & he does not deserve a spot on any major league roster, he is not good enough.
Never heard of this de la cruz guy, obviously it does not look we will see Folty back here. I do think Folty will get another chance somewhere next yr on a cheap prove it contract

Well, he was a good line drive hitter with 8-12 HR pop Take away from this stretch I think he has been a good Brave. I doubt he will be back and that will suit the WAR crowd fine.

Jasseel De La Cruz had a solid 2019, so who knows? I had read some about him in prospect reviews, but I know nothing. All I do know is that it can't get any worse than what Touki did last night. That kid has completely unraveled and has no confidence at all. I expect a change of scenery is in order for him. Hopefully, somebody can get him straightened out, but I don't think it's gonna be the Braves.

Has nothing to do with the crowd. 3 years in a row he has dropped off precipitously in the 2nd half, be it a 162 game schedule or just 60. Maybe he will pick it up, but we all knew by hook or crook he would be out there most of the time. That's why many wanted to keep Matt Joyce or just move on to another choice.

Personally, I’m ok with an OF of Duvall, Acuna and Nick. It beats having no arm Ozuna in LF or no bat Ender in CF. Nick at least makes pitchers work, has good ABs and hits the occasional 2B. We have a deep enough lineup that it doesn’t really hurt to have him in there.
