So, yeah, I think I'm wrong because the Braves are actually 29-20! I'd call it 10 too. I screwed that up.

The way I see it the Marlins would finish with 38 wins if they won their last 14 games. We have 29 wins right now, so I'm thinking we would need 10 wins to beat them, so I'm seeing the magic number as 10 as well.
People on O'Briens Twitter page are talking about it, someone is pointing out that it's 9 because we own the tiebreaker over the Marlins.

Yep, it looks like they did away with actual tiebreaker GAMES this year for the playoffs, scroll halfway down.
I missed this when it came out.
"Tiebreaker games will be eliminated, with ties broken by head-to-head record, followed by better record within a team's division and record in the last 20 games within the division."

That's not right either though is it? I thought the Braves were 3-3 vs the Marlins this year with 4 games left to play.

I'm going with ten, the guy on O'Briens Twitter page saying we owned the tiebreaker finally agreed we don't after I read some more.

It's 10
We have 4 games remaining with the fish and can lose the tie-breaker.
