Dallas Keuchel, LHP, 7-5, 3.47 ERA, 73 K's Keuchel has allowed just three runs despite allowing opponents a .263 average over his past five starts (31 innings). He limited the Phillies to two runs over seven innings on July 2.
vs
Zach Eflin, RHP, 8-11, 4.31 ERA, 112 K's Eflin has not been successful against the Braves this season, going 0-2 against them while allowing 12 earned runs in 5 2/3 innings. Pitching at home may help Eflin, who is 5-4 with a 4.26 ERA in Philly this season.

Kevin McAlpin @kevinmcalpin Just watched Nick Markakis take BP and live BP off minor league pitcher Connor Johnstone. Swing looked smooth, used to all fields. You’d never know he’s been out since July 27 with a broken wrist. #Braves expect him back soon, possibly this weekend in DC. @680thefan

Tyler could do a better job blocking pitches if he tried to square up his body instead of reaching and turning his upper body. Anything that hits his chest protector is going to make a 90 degree angle turn away from him.

There's a shortage of good catchers, that's for sure.
