Absolutely, but this is less about results (SSS) and more about noticing a regression in his approach.

someone kept posting in game comments in this tread. They deleted them after I pointed it out, so that's why you don't see what I was referencing.

Keystone, SSS stands for "Small Sample Size" ... Which is completely appropriate, as within this tread I've both praised Swanson and then pivoted back to caution about what appeared to be a regression to his old LF approach ... All of it should be appropriately taken with a grain of salt, as the season is still far too young to really draw any conclusions. I just hope we keep seeing Swanson stay closed and shoot for CF/RF, ala Edgar Renteria

I'm still hopeful, but he's given us all reason to doubt him.

Meh...
He was a error that should have been a hit and great catch in RF away from being more like .280. His OPS+ is 136 vs last years 88, and his OPS is .903 compared to his first year career high of .803.
I don't know how he will end up, but he is still doing fine right now.

He is 5 for his last 30, but no one is asking him to hit .320.

You won’t find a Braves player in the last 10 years that got more excuses made for him than Dansby.

If he can be productive, I'm fine with .250, and so far, that's happening.

I won’t start barking unless his OPS falls below the .730 to .750 range. If he gives us that coupled with his defense then he’s good. He’s had a good enough start that he shouldn’t fall below .730. And if he does then criticism will be legit.
