Great googly moogly this is the wrong time to be catching the Reds, if you can believe that. They've won 7 in a row and just bulldozed the Cubs with a 4 game sweep in Cincy. Their bats are electric right now.

Yeah well look at like "well that can't continue!" One thing in our favor.....maybe.....is that the Reds and Cubs have become a heated rivalry, they almost had a brawl two weeks ago.....and the Reds acted like they just swept the World Series this weekend. So hopefully they'll be flat now coming off that, they were really emotional all weekend over that series.

Wow, how bad are the Nationals?
What a joke.
That team HAS to have some clubhouse issues......

The next three days might not be a good time to give up sniffing glue.

The good news is that, after we lose 2 of 3 to the Reds and end up with a very pedestrian 8-6 mark against all of these under .500 teams, we're sure to go on the road vs. the Cards, Yanks and Brewers and go 7-3. Play up or down to the competition - it's the Braves way.

Folty off the DL and Evan Phillips sent back to AAA. Seriously? Why not send Sims down? After all, we already know he can't get ML hitters out consistently. At least give the kid a chance to pitch up here before you send him down. Who knows? He might actually be better than some of the riff raff we currently have in the pen.

DOH, just looked at the radar, looks like storms are moving in on the ballpark.
