I don’t understand the apprehension with having your best hitters hit at the top of the order, no matter who they are. There’s no clear cut lead off hitter, to be sure, but as things stand, today, tommorrow the lineup should be, while trying to take into account that Freeman is not moving out of the third spot Inciarte Markakis Freeman Flowzuki Albies Camargo Swanson Culberson And switch Tucker and Swanson if Tucker plays. Based on what criteria? Career? This season? The last 4 weeks? The last two weeks? Other?
How is Inciarte our best hitter or one of our best hitters?

There's some good news too, though. For one, Acuna will be back and hopefully ready to roll. Secondly, Ozzie, Dansby, and Acuna are all young guys who should improve as the season progresses. We will see.

We will see. I agree the young guys should adjust and improve. I'd like to move them down in the order in the meantime and maybe take some pressure off them, to possibly help the improvement.
Who sits when Acuna comes back?
Clearly, in my opinion, it should be Dansby, and that's not going to happen.
I'd move Camargo to SS and Culberson to 3B and ride Charlie as far as he'll go. I cannot believe he'll keep this up, but he is light years ahead of Dansby over the last month or so.

[ Right now he’s a better hitter than the last 4 guys, overall.

I would concede however that Ender is a better hitter right now than Harper.
For June:
Harper .133/.224/.200/.424 Ender .230/.277/.328/.605
Ender would still have him even if we didn't count the 3-4 super weak hits he's gotten in the last few days.

Lieutenant Dan and The Great and Powerful Oz are too important to our defense to break them up right now. The offense has been pretty bad recently (obviously) but not bad enough overall to bench either of them.

[ Well, crap, man, everyone’s complaint about Ozzie leading off. It’s not like the Braves have an unlimited supply of hitters. We know Freeman isn’t leading off, we know Flowzuki isn’t leading off, and we know Neck isn’t leading off. It’s Camargo, Swanson, and Inciarte. I’d choose Inciarte because he’s a better hitter of the three.

In spite of everything, Albies still leads all second basemen in XBH by a wide margin. He has hit the ball on the ground more in recent games, which tells me he may at least be trying to adjust.

We were counting on Inciarte holding down that leadoff position, getting on base with a solid OBP. His .309 OBP is 41 points lower than last season. It's lower than Swanson's OBP from last season. It's only 10 points better than Swanson's this year... 15 points better than Ozzie's.

Markakis has 323 games batting leadoff... some 1300 plus AB's
.291 BA
Really though the best hope would be Ender's career .298 there. He just needs to snap out of this and return to form.

And I don’t think we know one way or the other that Inciarte is a better hitter than Camargo. Camargo is blowing him away in OBP, which is what we need from the leadoff spot.

Culberson. It has to be Culberson.
