We should all take a step back and look at where the team is. The Braves have the most wins in the NL. The Braves were expected to be below .500 by Vegas weren't they? Albies, Acuna, Markakis, and Suzuki started off playing really well. It was possible that all of them could have hit slumps. Maybe some of our players weren't actually over-performing at the start of this season. Maybe Markakis is suddenly this good? We should be appreciating what we have. Why are we even questioning Albies without a solution? So you give Albies a little bit more time until Acuna comes back. Now you have Culberson starting every game until you bring Albies back? Maybe you sprinkle in Flaherty, who by the way has been pretty bad after his good start? You sure aren't trading for Machado or someone else to replace Albies. There is no need to sound the alarm bells right now. Let things happen as they will.

He has 18 hits in his last 100 at bats counting the double he got today. He did get to a 2-0 count, which is a good sign, but it's only one at bat. And it’s only 100 at-bats. And he's still 54th in WAR in all of baseball.
19 spots ahead of the "greatest player evar."
Although baseball Jesus is likely to drop farther tonight after his 0-5 today. Lowering his OPS to .834.

I'll tell you what's way more troubling to me--Dansby striking out at a 27.5% rate. For a guy who is a slap/line drive hitter that's ridiculous.

Speaking of that, I think a large part of the struggles for the young guys is balancing the aggressiveness the coaching staff wants with the ability to be selective at the same time. Freddie has mastered it, but the younger guys aren't there yet.

I, like a few others on here, am very pessimistic in our chances to maintain this level of play. The pitching can’t keep carrying the bats until they wake up, the starters are due regression, as was Oz. But Acuna has been out a while and the lead has grown. Surely they’re all due some regression. BUT WHAT If THEY DONT

The starting pitching has been outstanding by any measure. There's no doubt regression is coming there. Hopefully the bats come back to life to counteract that.

So many things have gone right it’s insane. Who could have expected Culberson to have won three games for us already?

I think we should blame Snitker for all of this....after all, he's the one that created this mess.

You’re walking a tightrope there—if you’re going to give Snitker credit now then you’ll also have to blame him if the bottom falls out. I’ll give him credit for keeping the players happy and confident.

Think where we’d be without Carle and Winkler and they were both out of nowhere.

Hmmm...maybe I was.....but then maybe I wasn't...…..who knows? Like you said, he's got the troops believing in what they are doing and are happy, so there's that....

Oz obviously needed a day off, hopefully a day off does to him what some extra rest does to Teheran.

I’m think of Moe right now talking to Curly, “Why I oughtta....” i do think having the players happy and confident means a lot. Maybe we can keep him on as a moral supporter and get a guy who can actually make good managerial decisions.
