The bottom line is the Braves took 3 of 4 and Snit is doing a helluva job with this team. Being second guessed is part of being a manager. I don't know how good of a game manager he is, but the players respect him and they respond to him. That goes a long way.

If we’re going to believe it goes a long way now we’re going to have to remember that when they have an extended period where they aren’t performing. I feel it’s almost sure to happen, we have an awful lot of things going really well and I can’t imagine that it won’t go the other way at some point. I hope I’m wrong about that because this is a blast watching this after all we’ve been through.

And I do feel it’s safe to say our leadoff guy shouldn’t still be leading off with a .300 OBP, especially when he’s hitting the ball so soft the opposing players don’t even need gloves.

Actually, several guys are slumping now. Oz, Ender, Tucker, and Suzuki are all struggling, and Dansby (other than some big hits) as well. It's not fair to say that everything is going perfectly, because it's not. This team is pretty good.

I didn't say it was going perfectly.
We have two very young pitchers pitching like Cy Young candidates, McCarthy has had a bunch of good outings, Sanchez pulled one out of his rear end today, Vizcaino has made almost all his successful saves an adventure, Culberson has won two games this week with walk off HR's, what were the odds of that? Markakis is having the best year of his career so far, after 5 poor to average years in a row, we have two guys who are 20 years old who have contributed a LOT already, Winkler and Carle have come out of nowhere and and been a huge help to an unstable bullpen....a lot of things have gone right. So many that I find it hard to expect that to continue. Despite his recent slump, Suzuki's OPS is still .787, and he has a career OPS of .699. Flowers OPS is .847 despite a career OPS of .714. Ryan Flaherty with a career OPS of .647 was a huge help the first 4-5 weeks of the season, out of nowhere. Just an awful lot of things have gone right so far. I'm not saying the team isn't good, I just can't imagine things will continue to go this well. Hopefully they do though.

True. And I can’t wait to see how many spaces we fall in ESPN’s power ranking tomorrow. 🤔 I'm guessing we're down to 9th! Close. We fell from 5th to 7th while the Nats went from 7th to 5th. Ummm ... OK. Whatever, ESPN.

Really...we take three out of four from the Nats, knock them out of first place by 1.5 games and the Nats move up and we move down? The Nats were only in first place because they had beat up on some bad teams.

Their writers are a bunch of clueless hacks.
