Mark Bowman @mlbbowman The Braves have not announced an update regarding his status and a diagnosis might not be made until Braves doctors evaluate Acuna on Monday.
Mark Bowman @mlbbowman Acuna was in a wheelchair when he boarded a commercial flight from Boston to Atlanta late Sunday evening. Even if the injury isn’t significant, there’s no need for him to put undue pressure on the knee.

Weather looks questionable as Alberto moves inland early tomorrow afternoon in the western Florida panhandle. I'll take a look in the morning but showers and thunderstorm are likely all day, especially tomorrow evening when they could be heavier.

Ugh I'm in Orlando, Florida right now, and they are expecting a lot of rain There is a big dry slot funneling dry air into the core from the east side so it shouldn't intensify until that inflow stops, probably tomorrow morning before landfall. The heaviest precipitation after landfall should move up through Alabama on Monday and into Tennessee on Tuesday but plenty of heavy showers within the storm boundaries and likely some tornadoes as well, especially to the NE of the center of the storm. Be safe! -PA

*** WEATHER UPDATE*** 1035 AM EDT 28 May 2018 Alberto began as an upper level low and is baroclinic in nature. Alberto has been starved of moisture from the dry slot has persisted through the night. That has kept the storm from strengthening but the movement has slowed and landfall isn't expected until late Monday afternoon or Monday evening. After showers this morning, expect activity to change to intermittent widely scattered showers this afternoon as the dry slot will be directly over most of GA except the far SW portions. As the evening approaches chances increase for scattered showers and thunderstorms in the Atlanta area. Expect rainfall in north central GA to measure generally less .25" during game time hours this afternoon so it's looking somewhat favorable for game one. Those amounts increase to .2-.5" for the game time period tonight so that's not as favorable but not a definite rain out either...yet. If the storm stalls or movement slows the chances of playing a game two is greater. There is a distinct possibility that we could play both games even if Alberto continues at the current rate of movement but it's extremely difficult to determine exactly where rain bands will set up. Even if the storm slows, some rain bands could push this far north. Looking at current model runs I'm cautiously optimistic at this time but concerned about development, banding, and moisture advection into the dry slot this afternoon and evening worsening conditions. I expect a slight general deterioration in conditions as the afternoon progresses and into the evening hours. Temps will be mostly be in the mid/upper 70's with E/ENE winds generally around 10 MPH today and increasing late tonight. Later tonight/overnight and tomorrow heavier rains can be expected with locally heavy downpours. Conditions should begin to improve by Wednesday but scattered heavy showers could linger. Probably 2" or more as a general rule before departing. I'll be away at times today but will check in periodically with updates on radar and the latest high resolution model. -PA

***WEATHER UPDATE*** 12:40 PM EDT 28 May 2018 A few radar echoes to the south around Columbus and Macon but widely scattered. Just a few isolated light showers/sprinkles elsewhere over north central GA, especially to the SE at this time. Some widely scattered and very small isolated patches of heavier showers are developing to the SE as expected. Looking good for at least a little while but a delay in game one is possible at any time if one of the heavier cells happen to hit the Smyrna area. RAP and HRRR looking good overall (<.1") with most precipitation being held to the south near Columbus and Macon through 4 PM. Game one looking encouraging. RAP and HRRR showing .1" to .4" for game two 7-10 PM time frame while GFS and NAM showing between .15" and .25" so good agreement at all levels. Game two looking slightly soggy but not a washout at this time. Encouraging but with some possible delays for game two also. Grounds crew may be tested today as multiple delays are possible in both games.
