***Weather Update*** 5:05 PM EDT 28 May 2018 Situation hasn't changed much from earlier today. Alberto making landfall now. Most models, including RAP, are a little more optimistic bringing in only .1" or less of rain tonight but the HRRR persists with .5" in the area and heavy downpours in the vicinity. Hoping the HRRR backs off those totals. I'll check HRRR and radar after dinner.
GO BRAVES...LET"S TAKE TWO TODAY!!!

So Dustin Peterson will get the call. Nice! Also that inning I'm glad they let Swanson swing away.

Another pathetic showing w/bases loaded. Getting real tired of all the stranded runners. Camargo is not the player I thought he was going to be after last year. Now he's just a huge liability. He still has a .376 OBP this year--he's not consistently hitting but he's getting a few here and there and taking a ton of walks. And he's a master defensive player at several positions. I'm disappointed he isn't hitting better, but he's still a nice asset all things considered.

***WEATHER UPDATE*** 6:48 PM EDT 28 May 2018
Unfortunately it looks like the HRRR is going to be right (it usually is). Activity is really picking up to the E/SE and numerous small cells are developing along with a larger cluster to the SSE. Several small cells have hit the Smyrna area in the last hour. I expect the larger cluster to reach the metro area by 7:30 PM and the Smyrna area by 7:45-8:00 PM. The smaller cells are a short term problem and could arrive at any time before the larger area makes an impact but the larger cluster of moderate to heavy rainfall currently looks like it could last about 45 minutes to an hour or more making for about a 1 1/2 to 2 hour delay. Rainfall HRRR is now up to ~.1"-.2" before 8 PM and 1"-1.25" from 8-10 PM. RAP has also upped the amounts but keeps the heavier rainfall to the south. Get ready for a Looong evening. Score early boys!
GO BRAVES!!!
