We've all seen the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene. Florida and the western parts of NC were his especially hard by flooding. Our own wncbravesfan hasn't been online since early evening on the 26th and while we assume he's safe until we know otherwise, he undoubtedly has some things he's dealing with.
So if you are the praying type, please take a moment to pray for him and the 100's of thousands of others affected by this storm.
Thanks, The management.

It's rough up here. Drive out to get a signal, still no TV, internet, or phone service and no estimated restoration time. Many are hurting much worse than I am. All safe and sound at my house though. Praise God for that!

My thoughts go out also to all those who lost loved ones and those still in danger. Our home sustained damage from a fallen tree and the metal barn roof was crushed (protecting a couple classic cars). We’ve had no power therefore no water no toilets (well) spotty WiFi ..along with the dozen or so 80-100 ft hardwoods that were uprooted attached to the ball root strewn about the property, but we have our lives and things can be replaced. The Lake Lure dam failure caused so much flooding, washing out interstates and bridges. When the storm took a turn to the east it caught many off guard. SC though has more people without power than both Fla and Ga and that’s a small price to pay. God Bless all.

I live north of Houston now but my home will always be northeast Tennessee. That's where I lived most of my life and where my family and ancestors were from for over 250 years. Plus, a good part of my family is still there as are my friends.
