The Phillies just cut loose Cutch and Odubel. They could be eyeing Rosario, Soler or even Duvall. They can have Heredia and Alamonte. And Gore, his contract is up.

I can’t see Anthopolous letting Jorge slip away …the fans would go bat sh*t crazy. Soler will strikeout a good bit too, but when he’s happy he’s hitting. Let’s keep Jorge and the fans happy. If it’s up to me, he and/or Rosario are first priority after Fred.

This is going to be one interesting offseason with the Collective bargaining agreement, Braves free agents, FF contract situation, potential trades, players in the Arizona Fall League. Who is going to be let go, who's is going to get signed or traded. HOT STOVE !!!

I enjoyed the heck out of this 2021 season. Eager to purchase my usual spring training tickets in Florida. This is going to be one interesting offseason with the Collective bargaining agreement, Braves free agents, FF contract situation, potential trades, players in the Arizona Fall League. Who is going to be let go, who's is going to get signed or traded. HOT STOVE !!!

Who is going to be let go, who's is going to get signed or traded. HOT STOVE !!! I know Freddie's contract is up. Soler and Rosario are Free agents and I'm sure will now be highly sought after. It looks like Pederson and Duvall have one more year. I would think the Braves try to sign Rosario and Soler probably goes with Acuna coming back.

I wish we had a resolution with wife beater. I have a bad feeling we should assume we’re stuck with him. If he goes we could keep Soler as the DH. This team is talking about love as their theme, no place for a wife beater in that. I do believe in rehab and second chances, but it takes years, you don’t just flip a switch in my opinion. But they’ll probably use the love theme as a reason to actually bring wife beater back into the family and say the love is going to help him.

I want to talk about love.
I would love to use that money from he who shall not be named towards Freddie, and re-signing Soler and Rosario.

Nick Castellanos has elected free agency. Will the Phillies go after him? Where do you think he ends up?

I want to talk about love. I would love to use that money from he who shall not be named towards Freddie, and re-signing Soler and Rosario. There's also going to have to be an extension for Dansby figured in, I expect at least 5 years maybe up to 7 depending on how much it is per year. I'm not totally sold on giving him a $15M per year or more long term deal because he's so damned inconsistent, but he does seem to add intangibles that help the team chemistry and he plays solid defense that is sometimes elite. Once you have the chemistry it is a great idea not to eff with that, as we've seen with high dollar teams the chemistry is really important and not easy to get, no matter how much you spend. To me that chemistry shows up in things like game 6--after what happened to us in game 5, and having to go back to Houston, a team with lesser mental fortitude would have buckled. But our guys are confident, secure, and work well together so let's keep the overall thing in as much of one piece as we can. It's been working and one could expect it to work for another 5+ years. I do think there's a 100% chance the Braves intend to give Dansby a good 5+ year deal, and will likely try to get it out of the way early so we don't do through another fiasco like we did with Freddie not signed this year. Dansby has one year left and after 2022 he's a free agent, so I expect to see him extended during this offseason just to get it out of the way so it's not a distraction. Obviously all the OFers we added at the deadline fit in with the chemistry thing. Rosario and Soler probably just raised their price eleventy billion dollars each, but you have to sign them both no matter what. Especially if you can dump the wife beater.

It's funny how the organization has it in for Camargo, and right on que the media follows right along. According to this writer Arcia "destroyed AAA pitching" with his .282/.351/.516/.867 season at Gwinnett, whilst Camargo merely "spent most of the season in Triple-A and doesn’t seem likely to be back" with his .326/.401/.557/.958 season.
I'll be happy for him the day he signs on somewhere else and gets to play every day in the big leagues again.
Duvall has already declined his part of the mutual option for 2022, he's going hunting for the big money. I would not pay him top dollar. He's a good all around player but not elite despite the power numbers he put up this year.
"Per the Braves’ transactions page, Marcell Ozuna was reinstated from the restricted list Wednesday. That was nothing more than a procedural move, but we should expect the results of Major League Baseball’s investigation into his arrest for alleged domestic violence eventually. He is facing suspension and it remains to be seen how the Braves will choose to proceed after MLB’s findings are announced. "
It's good to know that we should "expect the results of Major League Baseball’s investigation into his arrest for alleged domestic violence eventually."
That there is some top notch reportering.

Joctober has declined his mutual option. Fine by me lol …he brought a lot to the team chemistry and deserves to earn more than we can pay, but it just makes AA’s job easier Eddie and Jorge, please, Alex. Thanks

The #Braves today selected RHP Alan Rangel and OF Travis Demeritte to the major league roster, and reinstated RHP Mike Soroka and OF Ronald Acuña Jr. from the 60-day injured list.
The club also released LHP Grant Dayton, outrighted OF Terrance Gore to Gwinnett, and declined the 2022 option on RHP Josh Tomlin.
