As a group we seem to know and understand more about Tomlin and Smith than the so called experts, no one wants to call anyone out and that just frustrates me that there is such nice guy coverage. I guess I have posted that before but guess I am venting again, I won't post about it anymore but that does aggravate me. Hey, they would not even zing the fabulous Leon when he clearly was an incompetent player for us. Or Newcomb for not getting better - just tell it like it is us fans deserve honest objectivity. And I will add that one of them said that Heredia was doing great -- now okay he was serviceable and held up to expectations but great? Come on. get real do these guys know what the H great is? And our coverage people are people who have been around the game. Even dip Chip has been around the game he grew up in it. They almost all want to be liked by these guys instead of doing their job. The milquetoast Atlanta media is disgusting. I would boo them.
Why can't one single d-bag reporter have the balls to just ask Snitker "Why is Josh Tomlin still taking up a roster spot?"
Oh yeah.....because Sargent Splatterpants wouldn't like that.

LMAO. About 95% of the media are that way. There's no interest in finding real answers to real questions anymore. The so-called journalists are wusses and it just spills over into sports.

That is true, I stopped watched athletes talk a long time ago because they all say the same things and get the same stupid questions.
Which made this interview priceless after the Cup finals this year:
The players all wore this shirt at the celebration:

The Stanley Cup is still a thing? LMAO The NHL is the only sport that has handled all the political BS correctly, basically just completely ignoring it like they should.

I love the NHL, the center ice package is the only package I actually pay for - keeps me up with hockey and its worth it to me.
The sport is underrated.
The NBA I can really take or leave I really only care about the Hawks. The most recognizable NBA player is more of a jerk then Barry Bonds was
Still like the NFL but not love it like I used to.
Of course baseball is still the king of sports to me

Now wait a minute, I thought Tomlin really was throwing very well. Oh well, according to our manager that is the case. Guess results do not count (sarcasm of course) Tomlin has thrown the ball well all year, he's just gotten 150 bad breaks. All-Star LOL now that was one of my favorite responses.

Yeah, but it's hockey for chrissakes! Seriously though, I watched a bit of hockey this year. It's a very entertaining sport. I don't really understand some of the rules and I never played it. Those things work against hockey's commercial success.

Those things work against hockey's commercial success. I had the misfortune of living near St. Louis for 6 years when I was a little kid, but it was right after they got their hockey team. So we became huge fans and it stuck with me my whole life. I played when I was young, but I had super weak ankles and could never learn to skate very well. Helluva a goal scorer but I couldn't skate and eventually had to give up as I got older and the other kids got even better at skating.
