Just a red flag for those who scream sell sell sell - this is an example of what you might wind up with when you have the strategy of selling to an end of itself.
Even if a guy is a FA at the end of the yr, you just might be better off with the compensatory pick of what will be your own than someone else's low ball class A or so prospect that is not a real MLB prospect at least for now
I do think what we are throwing out there in the rotation is better than what Hill has done as of late though. I find it peculiar that TB just let him go for pretty much nothing. TB is not what you would call one of those sell teams. They must see something they are quite good with the anayltics
Remember the cheap return we got for Texiera from the Angels back in 2008. And the trades for most of those Coppy pitchers who did not amount to a hill of beans.
Don't sell Freddie for a POS return like that I do not care what happens. I am afraid it could happen not saying it will but you never know
Of course if they make a blow me away trade you cannot refuse well that is when you hate to see him go but might have an open mind

Watch them get on a streak real late when it does not mean anything and maybe get to 82 or 83 W
that would honestly piss me off.
I respectfully disagree, I want to see them battling to the end and would prefer a winning season even if it does not result in a playoff spot
I would tale 82 wins for now - as for selling, well it would have to be a blow me away trade for me to like the sale. I want no part of moving Charlie Morton for a couple of low A guys outside of a team's top 30. But if you give me a blow away deal then you keep an open mind.
