Riley was clearly safe AND the pitcher blocked the plate. We must have some real spiteful enemies that look at those replays.

Well yeah, I guess in a way the Braves did win it twice. Riley was called safe at home. Marlins challenged and the goof in New York said Riley was out. So then, Braves challenged for pitcher blocking the plate and the goof in New York said that the pitcher did not block the plate. Riley was clearly safe anyway. These replay umps really need to be regulated somehow. It was a good thing that Fried got a clean hit and didn't get involved in a close play.

If Bohm was safe, Riley damn sure was. They tried to say Riley's foot never came down from the air, and that's what was the deciding factor in overturning the call. But it looked to me and most everyone else Riley DID touch the plate prior to the tag.
Of course it is moot now since the Marlins perhaps foolishly gave the light hitting Kevan Smith a free pass to pitch to Fried, whom is a good hitting pitcher. The gamble backfired on them big time.
But honestly starting the bottom of the 9th, it felt like there was absolute 0.000000% chance to even tie the game. And after that I wasn't betting the house on them keeping the Marlins from getting their automatic runner from 2b in.
That's two hits in extras if I'm not mistaken.

The other great extra inning comeback this year. accesswdun.com/article/2021/5/1004118/adrianza-braves-rally-in-12th-to-beat-phillies

Mattingly over-managed the hell outta that game. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. He's a complete jerk off.

Was able to catch some of the game, especially late. Great win for the Braves. I thought they were done after that 3 run 9th. Then after a couple of hits and when Arcia got that hit I thought they might actually pull it off. Missed the ending though.

The Braves need to be sellers. Hopefully they'll get swept by the Pirates & Marlins going into the break. No they don't, and no Braves fan wishes they would lose.

Anyone who can't get the games live due to lack of service subscription, or provider not offering the channel, you can download dofu sports app and click on MLB then scroll down to the Braves game and click on the S-Home or S Away button to get the feed for the Braves when they are playing at home or away respectively. And surprisingly for a free service, the picture is nice a clean and there are no annoying ads other than when you first open the app up.
