Every team in the NL East is 5-5 over the last ten games except the Marlins who are 4-6. Very mediocre division this year. Wondering if AA feels it's worth spending any capital to make a move this year or just wait til the off-season and re-tool the lineup.

The Braves have to have an outfield upgrade regardless of whether you're talking this year or next year, so doing nothing there amounts to throwing in the towel completely. That's not a good look for a team that's still only 4 games out.

Orlando Arcia is in the lineup playing LF. Batting 7th.

Orlando Arcia is in the lineup playing LF. Batting 7th. Its a good idea to try him out for a while and see what he has, its reasonable though no guarantee he is an upgrade over Almonte. For sure he should have more pop. If he does not work out there is time at the deadline to get someone. And it should not cost that much in money, prospects or talent to upgrade over Almonte. About time we tried something Now, if we can upgrade over the Famous Leon.

Maybe mid 80's a team could wind up in the high 80s. A team like Washington could sneak in and get to 87 or 88. As for us, they owe it to the existing players and the fans to at least make a reasonable try, its not that far back. As for the Mets and Phillies, its I will believe it if I see it based on their recent track record - not saying they won't but lets see it

Well that was an easy inning for Charlie. 9 pitches, 3 outs.
