I think Jackson was an outfielder when he was drafted and somebody converted him to catcher.
I don't know what his two injuries were this year, but he's way more confident at the plate than I've ever seen him.
Jackson was originally drafted as an outfielder but I think he was a catcher in HS but Seattle converted to that position. He wanted to be a catcher and the Braves have allowed him to develop at that position My eye test tells me that he does not do a bad job handling the catching. I do not have the advanced data to back it up. Correct me anyone if I am wrong. I am glad he is getting confidence as a hitter he always had some power so like some of these guys maybe he is a later bloomer. So he makes it in his late 20's better late than never. You never have too much catching

You never have too much catching He's got mad power, he's really hitting some massive bombs. Here's one he hit last month, you'll probably have to view it on a large screen to see the ball land--it hits in the trees, and not the front trees but one farther back.

Today's game tread was up late yesterday, it just wasn't posted as an announcement where it is stickied at the top no matter where you are on the site.
You guys must have your bookmarks set to a very specific board instead of just to the site's home page.
