LOLLERZ!!! Scherzer is going to be 38 in July. That is the dumbest contract ever....the Mutts and Faillies are never going to learn.... I think the NLCS dead arm would have made me look the other way. Some say he's this generation's Nolan Ryan. I say there's only ONE Nolan Ryan. Ryan pitched over 5,000 innings, Scherzer has pitched about half that much.

Scherzer probably couldn’t even beat up Robin Ventura.
I was a yuge Nolan Ryan fan and that beat down he put on Ventura is one of my top 5 baseball memories of my entire life. There had to be a point right as Ventura got to the mound where he realized he had made a baaaaaad decision just a split second before the beating started.

And as a statement to the way they’ve turned the game into vagball nowadays, Ryan got to stay in that game after he machine gun punched Ventura, they said he had a right to defend himself.
I know a guy who is friends with Ryan and I almost had him talked into giving me an autographed poster of Ryan punching Ventura.

Nolan "No-no" Ryan was a once in a lifetime freak of nature. He could throw 100 mph NATURALLY. He didn't need all the crap they use now, because he was a S.T.U.D.

Ryan once threw 235 pitches in a 13 inning game. Talk about Bill Brasky territory.
"In 1989, at age 42, Nolan Ryan averaged 127 pitches a game with a high of 164, which came five days after he threw 150. "

Is that Nolan himself?

Not just 20 games, but 20 games already served.
Seems like "somebody" just predicted they were going to give him time served for 2021, hmmmm.....
He didn't even get a slap on the wrist.
