Gnats score 2 in the top of the 9th and beat the Faillies 13-12 to sweep that series.
Gnats are contenders and as usual the Faillies are descenders.

The NL East sure is a crappy division......which means the World Series champs will undoubtedly come from the division.

In all seriousness, if someone's back is tight, then I can definitely see that affecting their ability to hit and throw. Back issues suck.
But this stuff just seems to be happening on a near daily occurence to one or more guys.

This team seems bound and determined to find a way to not win this series.
I'm surprised Snit hasn't decided to sit Freddie to give him some rest and called up Camargo to play first.

I hate to sound like that guy but back in the day if a guy sat out cause his back was sore he would get the WTF treatment from his teammates.

Unfortunately, with the guys we have on the roster, you’re never going to have the ideal lineup. Adam Frazier sure would look nice at the top of our lineup. He's on base a lot, and that moves Acuña down to 2nd, where he would need to be more patient. Acuña is terrific when he's patient. Frazier is a Georgia boy, too. I'd throw Waters at the Bucs and see what happens. Not sure Waters would fetch a quality table setter like Frazier but you can give it a try Waters seems to be at least a couple of yrs away if he ever gets ready to make the jump. Got to check Frazier's contract status. Two guys I would like to pursue is Ketel and Starling Marte for this yr and beyond. Starling would be a target for the off season. Ketel Marte is a guy you have to give up something to get something. I'd start with Wright and Shewmake and see what happens.
