OMG, Snell being pulled in the bottom of the 6th after 73 pitches. Barnes just got a one out single, the Dodgers second hit of the game. Betts coming up who has struggled terribly against lefties in the post season and all season long for that matter....the Rays manager just Snitkered us. Snell shaking his head, can't believe he's being pulled. He's had the hitters looking terrible all night.

Wow, Betts doubles, 2nd and 3rd now with one out. Snell had faced Betts, Seager and Turner (the next three coming up after Barnes got his hit) twice each tonight, and struck each one of them out both times.
Dumbass move.

That's called over-managing. I'm sticking with Snell in that situation. Cash just handed the Dodgers the World Series. The Rays are not a good hitting team, so I'm seriously doubting they get back in this.

Diaz called out on a pitch out of the zone to end the Rays 7th with a runner on.....

Snell has every right to go over and punch Cash right in the ear as hard as he can.

This is what managing strictly by the numbers will do to you. Sometimes, you really do have to look at other factors, especially in a do or die game.

I thought all along that we would have matched up well with Tampa Bay, it's really a shame we couldn't finish things when we had a 3-1 lead on the Dodgers.

This is what managing strictly by the numbers will do to you. Sometimes, you really do have to look at other factors, especially in a do or die game. This was Betts against LHP this year: .200/.313/.218/.531 And against RHP this year: .323/.385/.677/1.061 If analytics was behind that decision they would have stayed with Snell. That wasn't analytics that was just being a dumbass.
Or more of that ridiculous belief every manager in baseball has trying get that stupid lefty/lefty or righty/righty matchup against EVERYBODY. It matter against some guys, some it doesn't. This was a case where a smart manager would have known how much Betts has struggled against lefties this year and raked against righties. To make matters worse, Snell had owned Betts Seagar and Turner tonight, no reason at all to rock that boat, he had struck all three of those guys out twice tonight. Between them they had 6 ABs and K'd 6 times. But let's be a wiseguy manager. His ass is going to be talked about for a long time over this. When you look at how badly Snell had owned the Dodgers tonight, this is an all time historic World Series boner move by a manager.

The Rays get one more AB but they sure look done after batting in the 8th.

Yeah, and I'll go even more old school for you. Snell is their guy. As much turnover as they have, he's easily the face of the franchise. A homegrown talent and a damn good pitcher. He deserved better. Yeah, that's old school, but it's also true. IMO

Done.
New World Series Record 27 K's in one game between the two teams and the Dodgers didn't even bat in the bottom of the 9th.
Modern day baseball.
I was willing to give full credit to whoever won the series this year, but since it ended up being the Dodgers.......
TAINTED!!!
ASTERISK!!!
