Jose Urena RHP, #62 Ureña faced the Braves on Sept. 7, allowing three runs in five innings in a no-decision. In 17 career games, he is 2-8 with a 6.55 ERA. Ureña had a solid last start vs. Boston (two earned runs in 5 1/3 innings).
vs

The umpires need to get to Urine and warn him of this S before the game -- too much history there
Need to explain some stuff to Mattingly too.
If I were Snit, given we got game one I might consider giving Ronald a rest. Why not? Would be available for PH duties or, once Urine is knocked out put him in
I do not want to take a chance on a stupid injury like a broken finger or hand by the hands of that urinary head care - he is a urine head. We got the division - you stinky fish do not
Miami you are not a real baseball town I hate that place - alligator and bug infested penninsula
As for the TBD, why has Folty not even seem to be closely considered
I would take my chances with him over Bryse Wilson, seems Folty has really fallen out of favor with the org. I guess Wilson is more highly regarded then him or Newk at this time

If he doesn't hit him in the first AB, I vote for nailing their leadoff batter with the 1st pitch of the game.
I am tired of them hitting us and then a warning going out so we can not retaliate.

I feel like there's almost no way in hell we are going to lose the next three, but we do have our special ways of gagging and Miami has a fiesty bunch of players who won't quit.

David O'Brien @dobrienatl #Braves can clinch a third straight NL East title tonight with a win against the Marlins coupled with one loss by Philly in its doubleheader with the Nats. Braves could clinch a postseason berth tonight with a win vs. Marlins *or* if the Phillies get swept in their doubleheader.

I guess I can sit in front of my computer and question why they keep throwing Bryse Wilson in there who has not shown much in parts of 3 MLB seasons, but when a guy has a career 1.90 WHIP and .319 average against, what does he have that they keep trying with him
We do have Folty at the alternative site who - as inconsistent as he has been when he is on he can get on a good roll.
I would say its a good bet Folty will be in another org next yr - another team will try to work with him on a reduced salary, a prove it or lose it deal
Maybe Wilson can figure it out - the organization obviously sees something in him

I would have had more faith in Charlie Culberson starting on the mound tonight over Wilson.
I'm going to go out on a limb and predict he'll pitch up the whole time he's in the game and throw a bunch of cement mixer curveballs that have nothing on them and end up belt high in the middle of the plate. Just a wild shot in the dark here.....

If he doesn't do well, I predict he will give up 6 earned runs before we pull him.

Thank goodness the Braves won game one, this would be serious jeapordy of going down 0-2 had then not Its hard to believe that Folty has fallen so far down the pecking order that he is behind the likes of Bryse Wilson It was only last fall he went 6-2 down the stretch, pitched one good game in the post season before that infamous game 5 which was a total team meltdown Just why has Folty not been given another chance is a fair question given some of what they have experimented with out there

Wilson will either miss the zone hig and away nowhere close with his fastball, or he's gonna hang a bunch of curves over the plate and get shelled with homers and doubles. Either way, he will struggle and give up 4-6 runs in under 4 innings. Braves apparently see something in him nobody else does.

We get 6 strong from Wilson tonight. Another one that is only 22 years old. The kids are growing up.

I've read reports saying terrible to "not bad". None of the reports I've seen have been good. None. Folty with bad stuff is a non-starter. He suffers from confidence problems as it is. If he doesn't have his stuff then you can't put him out there.
