AA looking like a complete idiot wearing that stupid ass mask on the podium. Hamels' career is probably over. Oh well as if AA's popularity in atlanta couldn't be worse. Now his "golden" signing from last offseason blows up in his face. Hamels was getting old and injury prone, and AA knew it, signed him anyway. $18 million wasted AA to the elevator shaft!!!!!
This should be easy since EVERYBODY hates him!!!

Hamels to IL, felt discomfort today according to Gabe Burns. @gabeburnsajc: It’s not going to happen for Hamels, who the Braves hoped could make a difference this postseason. He made one start this season. He was supposed to go tomorrow. Braves don’t know who will fill that spot yet. Milone is eligible if healthy. Newcomb, Toussant, Tomlin other options. Fried last pitched Friday. My recommendation would be to pitch him Wednesday as rain is likely ( and at this time a >50% chance of a rainout Thursday) Thursday and Friday.

I want no part of milone and Touki, both are Robbie Erlin bad. Give it to newcomb.

It's hilarious when I see people nutting up over under $7 million that went bad due to injury when every other day they advocate thw Braves spending money like they were pulling it out of the Monopoly box.
Everyone chillax... Hamels hasn't been able to help us all year, so we are no worse off than we were 10 days ago. The money wasted wasn't yours.
Y'all should think about not going out of your way to find things to be outraged about. I had hoped he could help us in the post-season, but at this point that would have just been a bonus. The money spent isn't going to kill the franchise, even if it could have been spent elsewhere.

$18 mill for 4 1/3 IP. Good work if you can get it. Just over $6 million for 60 games though, right? That's only $1.5 million or so per inning.

Ynoa needs more movement on his fastball. Great arm, though.
